Tutor, Out of School Time Program
Find Your Role
We have opportunities for every schedule, skill set, and interest. All volunteers receive training and ongoing support.
Tutoring & Mentoring
Work one-on-one with students in our Out of School Time program, helping with homework, reading, and building confidence.
Workforce Coaching
Share your professional expertise with young adults (16–35) in our Workforce Services program — resume reviews, mock interviews, career guidance.
Community Events
Help organize and staff Xiente events — from the annual Prosperity Breakfast to community resource fairs and program open houses.
Administrative Support
Support our program staff with data entry, communications, translation (Spanish/English), and general office tasks.
Early Education Classroom
Assist teachers in our Head Start and Early Head Start classrooms — reading to children, supporting activities, and building relationships with families.
Family Resource Navigation
Help families connect with community resources — housing, food assistance, healthcare, and social services. Bilingual volunteers especially needed.

Orientation & Screening
Attend a brief volunteer orientation (in-person or virtual). Some roles require a background check — we'll guide you through the process.
